I'm George, born and raised in little old Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. I've been passionate about making things for as long as I can remember.

Growing up with an engineer father, I spent my childhood helping with projects and learning to build. I've always been hands-on, and I love the challenge of creating something cool, interesting, or just a bit different.

I work out of an old paddock shed on my parents' property. The roof leaks, it's not lined, and it's messy - but it's mine, and it's where the magic happens. Building a proper workshop is on the list.

About ME

I started making cutting boards in April 2025 after watching too many YouTube videos and thinking "I need to try that." I bought some oak strips, threw myself in the deep end, and somehow my first boards turned out pretty well. Since then, I've moved into wood slabs and river boards, building a solid collection of custom pieces.

The 3D Printing

I’d always wanted a 3D printer but thought they were too expensive. When my twin brother got one in 2019 and started sending me videos, I caved. Two weeks later, I had my own Creality Ender 3, and I haven't stopped printing since. Six years later, I've upgraded to a bigger Elegoo Neptune 3 Plus.
